I’m Sanjay Mudnaney.

I bring over 37 years of hands-on experience in marketing and communications, having led functions across large organisations, global brands, and startups. I built India’s first integrated marketing company with presence in over 120 markets and co-founded a payments startup, experiencing the founder journey first-hand.

Over the years, I’ve mentored many small business founders and currently work as a fractional CMO with a few select organisations.

A consistent strength across my career has been building clear brand narratives helping founders make sense of complexity, align teams, and communicate with clarity and confidence.

I’m a storyteller at heart, a published author, songwriter, and filmmaker, deeply curious about AI and how it’s reshaping marketing and communication. I’ve built communities and spent long hours cycling practices that reinforce patience, resilience, and reflection.

All of this shapes how I listen, think, and support founders through uncertainty.
